Breakthrough in Panatioyou murder investigation.

THE SA Police Service detective team assigned to the murder investigation of Port Elizabeth school teacher Jade Panatioyou has arrested two suspects.

Panatioyou was abducted in front of the gate at about 6.3am last Tuesday while waiting outside their Kabega Park townhouse for her lift to Uitenhage where she was employed as a teacher at Riebeek College. Her body was found on a farm in Rocklands near Uitenhage the following.

One of the suspects 31-year- old Luthando Myoli appeared in Port Elizabeth Magistrate court this morning. He was not asked to plead and will again appear on the May 7.

A 28-year old male relative of the deceased was also arrested and will appear in court on May 4.

According to the police this is prima facie case against the two suspects and the robbery has been ruled out as the motive of the murder.
